About Me
I'm Lívia
I'm a Design Engineer — I design and build digital products end to end, instead of stopping at the handoff. I founded ALIVE Design Studio to help people present themselves and their businesses in a way that represents their real value, through thoughtful design, development, and product thinking.
I come from logistics and accounting. I naturally think in systems, structure, and how small choices ripple through a whole product — and that's the part of this work I love most. A little over a year ago I moved into design (UX/UI and frontend), and I'm currently learning the backend side too — Python and FastAPI — so I can take projects all the way from idea to a working product.
Right now I'm freelancing, and open to interesting positions where I can take on new challenges. I'm working on several projects alongside client work — including a digital library and an ebook for designers, developers, and business owners on systems thinking, intentional product design, and how the way we build affects the people on the other side of the screen. I'd love to work toward healthtech, science, and AI-based companies.
When I'm not working (which is rare) I do sports, learn languages — currently Japanese — or look for the next thing I want to grow into. If you're interested in working together, or just looking for honest content about design, building, and learning in public — I'm here for you.
